Well, I got out in the water after work. The waves held out all day so maybe the surf gods were paying attention after all. It was pretty fun - waist high plus, glassy, clean - but also frustrating. The bigger sets were mostly closing out, the smaller ones weren’t very powerful so there wasn’t much you could do. There was a decent drift. I’m getting old. It was really nice out, though. A lightning storm in the distance - saw a couple water strikes. Fish everywhere. Warm water. Sunset. Short little rides - nice drop in’s. Pretty cool.
